Combating COVID-19

During the pandemic, the Hong Kong Community Foundation actively worked to support the communities in combating the COVID-19 situation. Our initiatives included sending festive gifts and care packs with essential amenities to medical practitioners, communities in need and those in quarantine.  We also donated surgical masks and medical equipment to local and international medical institutes.  Moreover, we created video and printed communications to help the community stay healthy during these challenging times.

To demystify vaccination, the Hong Kong Community Foundation invited media veterans Chip Tsao and Stephen Chan, artist Lawrence Cheng, medical professional Professor Gabriel M Leung and renowned artists Liza Wong, Susan Tse and Bowie Wuto share their thoughts on getting vaccinated and protected.

We are also committed to supporting medical practitioners for their tireless and professional work and donated surgical masks, care packs and essential amenities to local and international medical institutes who are worlding hard to safeguard our communities.
