The Foundation pays close attention to the development of education in mainland China. Since 2011, the Foundation has donated a total of RMB 23 million over seven consecutive years to Peking University and Tsinghua University, the top academic institutions in China. These donations established an education fund to support exceptional students with financial needs in pursuing higher education, thus fostering talent.
In addition, the Foundation has contributed extensive donations to many educational programmes in mainland China and established multiple scholarships, promoting the development of China’s education industry. The donations total over RMB 22 million and have benefited the following institutions:
- Henan University of Economics and Law Education Fund
- Fuzhou University Ng Teng Fong/Sino Group Chair Professor Fund
- Guangdong Lingnan College, Sun Yat-sen University
- Fujian Guangzhao Middle School- The People’s Political Consultative Magazine
