The Foundation donated GBP 1.5 million to Somerville College at the University of Oxford to establish of the Ng Teng Fong Thatcher Scholarship. Aiming to cultivate excellent talent with international perspectives, the scholarship covers full tuition and provides a generous grant towards living expenses. It is awarded to academically outstanding students who are residents of the People’s Republic of China, Singapore or the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the PRC.
