In March 2026, the Ng Teng Fong Charitable Foundation hosted the Interfaith Luncheon 2026, celebrating Hong Kong’s rich diversity of religions and cultures, and reaffirming the Foundation’s longstanding commitment to promoting social cohesion and cultural inclusiveness.
In its second year, the Interfaith Luncheon has gradually developed into a valued annual platform for religious communities. The Foundation was honoured to welcome Ms Alice Mak, Secretary for Home and Youth Affairs, whose presence reflected the HKSAR Government’s continued recognition of and engagement with Hong Kong’s diverse religious communities. The luncheon brought together religious leaders representing 13 faith traditions from Hong Kong and overseas, including Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism, Christianity, Catholicism, Islam, Judaism, Zoroastrianism, the Bahá’í Faith, Hinduism, Sikhism, Jainism and Eastern Orthodoxy.
