The Ng Teng Fong Charitable Foundation donates 1 million SGD to support two Graduate Fellowships at the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. This initiative aims to foster research in digital healthcare transformation and health equity in Singapore, in collaboration with the World Economic Forum.

The Ng Teng Fong Fellow in Digital Healthcare Transformation will be hosted within the Institute for Digital Medicine. The Fellow will act as project manager and content expert in Digital Healthcare Transformation and will work in partnership with a paired Fellow in Health Equity. The Fellow will be working on the topics of digital health, health data, and Al & frontier tech, and will support the Forum’s Centre for Health and Healthcare in driving forward the development of Singapore’s journey to becoming a global leader in Health Equity and Digital Healthcare and developing action-ready country roadmaps for uptake and scaling in different regions/countries in ASEAN.

The Ng Teng Fong Fellow in Health Equity will be hosted within the Centre for Research in Health Systems Performance. The Fellow will contribute to the Forum’s broader global Health Equity strategy with Singapore-based insights and case studies; undertaking research on Singapore’s health system transformation, highlighting key changes, outcomes, and lessons learned.
