The Ng Teng Fong Charitable Foundation has donated RMB 12 million to Tsinghua University to support its Executive Master of Public Administration (EMPA) Programme, the first EMPA programme on mainland China tailored for Hong Kong executives to groom the next generation of talents with a broad perspective.
‘As Hong Kong’s economic and social development increasingly connect with the mainland China, it is important that we have executives who understand Hong Kong, the mainland China and the world for us to continue to play our role as a super connector. We are delighted to have the opportunity to support this tailored programme. The 30 participants come from diverse backgrounds, including civil servants, commercial professionals, non-government organisation personnel, reflecting the depth and breadth of the executive programme. On behalf of the Foundation, I would like to wish them every success in their academic pursuit, and look forward to working with them to contribute to Hong Kong’s future development,’ remarks Mr Daryl Ng, Director of the Ng Teng Fong Charitable Foundation and Deputy Chairman of Sino Group.
