The Foundation donated RMB 20 million to the China International Culture Exchange Foundation for the establishment of the ‘Ng Teng Fong Education Fund’. The Fund supports the training of outstanding rural teachers in poverty-stricken areas and contributes to poverty alleviation projects to enhance the quality of teaching. The training programme developed a combined course mode (online and offline) and trained more than 100 village teachers.
The Fund supported the collaboration with Peking Normal University and Guizhou Normal University to provide training programs for Gansu Jingyuan, Shaanxi Nanzheng, Guizhou Yinjiang, Sichuan Qingchuan, and other national poverty-stricken counties.
