Since the year 2011, the Foundation has consecutively sponsored 560 underprivileged children and families from Sham Shui Po to enjoy an annual buffet at Hong Kong Gold Coast Hotel, reaching over 5,000 beneficiaries with a memorable afternoon.
Ms. Lai-shan Sze, Community Organizer of the Society for Community Organization, said, ‘A sincere thank you to the Ng Teng Fong Charitable Foundation for inviting the low-income families of Sham Shui Po to enjoy this buffet each year. The participating children had mostly never been to a hotel to try a buffet, and they also rarely had the chance to play with their parents at the beach. The children were all so excited.’
